Bilingualism in the U.S. 

Spanish 399-51 

The purpose of this course is to examine bilingualism from social and cognitive points of view as it pertains to the Spanish-speaking world. A primary objective of this course will be to examine issues related to language development, use and variation, processing, and language contact. By the end of the semester, you will have an improved understanding of Spanish bilingualism from cognitive, social, and acquisitional points of view.
