My Bone Marrow Transplant Story

At age 10, on October 23rd, 2008, I underwent a life-saving bone marrow transplant. To this day, I vividly remember that pivotal moment in my life and the compassionate team at Duke Children's Hospital who supported me through my recovery. In May 2021, upon graduating from college, I was honored to write a thank you article for the Duke Children's Pediatric Transplant and Cellular Therapy Family Support Program newsletter, expressing my deep gratitude.
